CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Big Ten leader and ninth-ranked Illinois handed Michigan State its worst loss in history, a 98-51 setback in Champaign, Ill., today. The loss was MSU's second-straight and dropped the Spartans overall record to 11-13 and their conference mark to 5-9. The Illini improved to 18-6 overall and 11-2 in the Big Ten.
