Women's Crew Ranked in Latest Polls

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State varsity eight women's crew is ranked eighth in the latest USRowing National Collegiate Rowing Coaches Poll. The Spartans experienced the biggest move of any team in the poll, jumping eight spots after defeating Oregon State and Southern California, who were ranked 12th and fifth, respectively.
The NCAA also released its regional rankings on April 27. Michigan State is ranked as the fifth best team in the central region. The varsity eight and varsity four are also ranked fifth. The second varsity eight is ranked sixth.
The Spartans will look for continued success this weekend at the Midwest Rowing Championships in Madison, Wis.
