Women's Gymnastics Loses to No. 4 Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich.Michigan State women's gymnastics team, ranked No. 15, lost a dual meet to No. 4 University of Michigan Friday, 197.550-193.975. The meet was held in front of 1,269 at the Cliff Keen Arena in Ann Arbor.
Woloverine Sarah Cain showed why she is one of the best in the country, winning the all-around with a score of 39.650. (Included in her effort was a 10.00 on the floor exercise.) This ups her nation leading 39.550 average.
Spartan Elisabeth Forshier tied UM's Heather Kabnick for first on the vault with a score of 9.900. Carloyn Hecht had a strong showing on the uneven parallel bars, coming in second with 9.900. MSU next competes on Sunday at Towson State at 2:00 p.m.
