MSU To Host Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament

East Lansing, MI - Michigan State University will host the Fifth Annual Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament, Nov. 6-8 at Spartan Stadium. The winner of the six-team tourney earns the Big Ten's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

Each team is seeded based on its regular-season finish with the top two teams earning a first-round bye. Action begins on Friday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. and concludes with the title game on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m.

Admission for the tournament is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the Jenison Field House Athletic Ticket Office (517) 355-1610 or at the gate.

Friday, Nov. 6 No. 4 Seed vs. No. 5 Seed 11 a.m. No. 3 Seed vs. No. 6 Seed 2 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 7 No. 1 Seed vs. No. 4 vs. No. 5 winner 11 a.m. No. 2 Seed vs. No. 3 vs. No. 6 winner 2 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 8 Title Game 1 p.m.
