Women's Soccer Is Defeated By Minnesota, 2-0

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women?s soccer team was defeated, 2-0, by Minnesota on Friday evening in Minneapolis.
Minnesota sophomore Alison Rackley scored the game-winning goal at 31:14, it was assisted by freshmen Liz Wagner and Meghan Jones. The Gophers? second goal was scored by senior Megan Johnson at 83:18 and was assisted by junior Laurie Seidl.
Junior Spartan goalkeeper Sara Kloosterman (Farmington) recorded ten saves and senior goalkeeper Dana Larson had two stops for the Gophers.
MSU?s record falls to 2-4-3 overall (1-1-1 Big Ten) while Minnesota improves to 4-3 overall (2-1 Big Ten). The Spartans face Wisconsin on the road on Sunday, September 26 at 1 p.m.
