Spartan Basketball To Hold Green-White Games On Oct. 28

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's basketball teams will hold their Green-White games on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Breslin Center. The men's game will tip-off approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Michigan State-Illinois football game, which kicks off at 12:10 p.m. It is estimated that the men's game will start at approximately 4 p.m. The women's game will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the men's contest.
Doors to the Breslin Center will open at 3 p.m. There will be no admission charge for the scrimmages. Fans attending the game are asked to consider that many people will be on campus for the football game and to please allow a little extra time to find a parking space.
"We are excited about the Green and White scrimmage," said men's head coach Tom Izzo. "This will be a great opportunity for people without season tickets to see us play in a live game setting. While we hope that many fans will come over after the football game, we also want to welcome those who may not have tickets to the game. Our team will play with the same effort and enthusiasm that they display during the regular season and we hope to fill the arena so that the Breslin Center will have the same level of excitment that has made it such a special place to play over the last few seasons."
