XC Heads To Paul Short Invitational

EAST LANSING, MICH. - The 14th ranked Spartan men's cross country team is set to compete in this weekend's 27th Paul Short Run. The event will be run at Leigh University's Goodman Campus Course. There are over 71 collegiate teams slated to compete in the meet.
MSU sports two of the top runners in the Big Ten in Jason Mueller(Sophomore/Shelby,Ohio) and Steve Padgett (Freshman/Cincinnati,Ohio). Mueller and Padgett hold the second (24:21)and third (24:29)best times in the Big Ten this season and have finished in the top ten of both meets they have competed at this season.
The men's 8K is scheduled to begin at 8:30, with the women following.
