East Lansing, Mich. - The Michigan State Crew was unable to finish racing at the Head of the Ohio Regatta (Pittsburgh, Pa.) on Oct. 7, due to extremely rough conditions.
Although the sky was clear, the temperature was a chilling 45 degrees, and the high winds caused several boats to swamp, or fill with water. Only half of the 11 boats MSU entered in the competition had finished rowing before the regatta was cancelled. Official results will be posted on Sunday, Oct. 8.
