Three Spartan Runners Honored With Big Ten Award

EAST LANSING, MICH. - The Big Ten Conference announced its Fall Academic All-Big Ten Conference Team and three men's cross country runners were among the 45 Spartan athletes honored.

The honored trio of sophomores was led by Jared Aldrich (3.69/Supply Chain Management), who had the highest GPA. Ben Evans (3.33/No Preference) and Jason Mueller (3.39/Interdisclipinary Social Sciences) rounded out the three Spartan runners honored.

To be eligible for the Academic All-Big Ten team, an athlete must be a letterwinner in at least their second year at the institution and carry a career grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
