* Freshmen scored each of the first five goals in the game.
* MSU is 5-0-1 in the last six games against Michigan at Joe Louis Arena.
* MSU is now 10-0-1 in overtime games at Joe Louis Arena.
* MSU came from behind in the third period for the first time all season. The Spartans are now 0-6-1 when trailing after two periods.
