Baseball Changes Home Opener

East Lansing, Mich. - The Michigan State baseball team will host Eastern Michigan in its 2000 home opener on Tuesday, March 21, eight days earlier than scheduled. The Spartans and Eagles will meet in a single game at 2 p.m., at Kobs Field.

The Spartans have also altered their schedule for this weekend. MSU was set to play a single game against West Virginia on Friday, March 17, but has canceled that contest. MSU will still travel to Morgantown to play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 18 and at least one game on Sunday, March 19.
