Women's Tennis Stopped By Penn State

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team lost, 7-0, to Penn State in the final dual match of the regular season Sunday afternoon. The Spartans end the season 2-14, 0-10 in the Big Ten.
Penn State took all six singles matches, including defaults at No. 5 and No. 6 singles. The Nittany Lions also swept the three doubles matches, including a default at No. 3 doubles.
Michigan State will now head to Ann Arbor for the Big Ten Championships Thursday through Saturday, April 27-30, at the University of Michigan.

Joi McQueen (MSU) 6-1, 6-1 No. 4 - Judy Wang (PSU) def. Kathryn Figenshau (MSU) 6-0, 6-0 No. 5 - Marina Kopacova (PSU) won by default No. 6 - Janelle Perez (PSU) won by default
Doubles Matches No. 1 - Montgomery/Barnett (PSU) def. Townsend/Skogerboe (MSU) 8-2 No. 2 - Ho/Kopacova (PSU) def. Figenshau/McQueen (MSU) 8-1 No. 3 - Wang/Teresa Whiteside (PSU) won by default
