Men's Basketball To Hold National Championship Celebration

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State University will celebrate the 2000 men's basketball national championship with a celebration on Saturday, Sept. 23, preceding the MSU-Notre Dame football game.

Doors to the Breslin Center will open at 11 a.m. Fans will have the opportunity to view and photograph the same floor that Michigan State defeated Florida on to win the national championship. From 12-2:00 p.m., Spartan basketball players and the coaching staff including head coach Tom Izzo will sign autographs on the Breslin Concourse. Fans will also be able to enjoy championship highlight videos on the Spartan Vision screens in the arena.
