Men's Golf In 10th Place After Opening Round

East Lansing, Mich. - The Michigan State men's golf team is currently in 10th place, shooting 292, after the first round of the Colorado State Intercollegiate. The 54-hole tournament has been reduced to 36-holes after the first 18-holes were cancelled due to weather. The University of Colorado is leading the tournament after firing a team score of 279.
The Spartan's Dennis Riedel (Sr., St. Clair) is currently in a five-way tie for 10th place. He shot a pair of 35's. Nathan Clark (Jr., Mason) fired a 72 (37-35), which was good for a tie for 26th place.
The Spartans will play the final round of the invitational Tuesday, teeing off at 10:30 a.m. MDT.
