MSU Baseball To Hold 2001 Winter Camps

EAST LANSING, MICH. - The Michigan State Baseball team is preparing to hold it's 2001 winter baseball camps. There will be two separate camps, one specializing in hitting which will be held on February 3 and a pitching and catching clinic, which is to take place on February 17.
The Spartan hitting camp will have two sessions on Feb. 3. The first is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and run through 12:30 p.m. The second sessions will begin at 1:30 and run until 5 p.m. The sessions will both be held at MSU's Intramural West Building, which houses a turf arena with six full batting cages.
The pitching and catching camp has only one session on Feb. 17, with the clinic starting at 12:30 and ending at 5 p.m. This camp will be held in the Duffy Daughtery Building.
Offering their expertise at this year's Spartan camps will be MSU head coach Ted Mahan, assistants Greg Gunderson and Cory Mee, as well as current MSU baseball players and various top high school coaches.
