Rowing to Finish Fall Season at Head of the Elk

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Spartan rowing crew will finish the fall season at the Head of the Elk on the Upper St. Joseph River in Elkhart, Ind. Hosted by the Indiana Rowing Association, the events are scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28. The 2.5-mile head race will host 42 organizations, including four Big Ten opponents: Michigan, Indiana, Purdue, and Northwestern.
The Spartans last rowed at the Head of the Grand, their only home race of the fall season. MSU swept the competition on the Grand River, taking first place in every women's event.
