EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head basketball coach Tom Izzo will be signing copies of "Green Glory: Champions of the Hardwood, 1998-2001" at Barnes & Noble in downtown East Lansing (333 E. Grand River) on Sunday, Dec. 23 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
"Green Glory," a 288-page, full-color, coffee-table book is the definitive, behind-the-scenes look at Michigan State's last three Final Four basketball teams.
Written by Jack Ebling of the Lansing State Journal, with photo editing by MSU Assistant Athletics Director John Lewandowski, "Green Glory" chronicles the Spartans' rise to four straight Big Ten titles, three straight No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament and a national championship in 2000.
The book details the building of Tom Izzo's program and offers an in-depth look at the future of an elite program. Included are profiles of every MSU player and coach in that three-year span and a comprehensive look at all 120 games in that period.
