MSU Gymnastics Travels to Arizona State

The Michigan State men's gymnastics team will travel to Arizona State on Saturday, March 3 to face Arizona State, Penn State, Stanford, California and Oklahoma.

Junior Jonathan Plante (Easton, Pa.) was named Big Ten Gymnast of the Week on Wednesday, February 28. Plante, ranked first on the pommel horse nationally according to Gym Info, has a two score average of 9.350. Plante has won the pommel horse competition in four of the Spartans' five meets this season.

This week the Spartans are ranked fifth in the nation according to Gym Info with a two score average of 209.625. The team is also ranked in the top 10 in each event: ninth on floor (34.737), sixth on pommel horse (34.650), fifth on the rings (35.425), seventh on the vault (35.750), fourth on parallel bars (34.425) and seventh on the high bar (34.425).
