Baseball's Big Ten Home Opener Site Changed

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State baseball team will open its 2001 Big Ten Conference season Friday, Mar. 30 at 2 p.m. at Kobs Field. The final three games of the series however will be played at Olds Park, Lansing's minor league park and home to the Lansing Lugnuts. The Spartans and Boilers will play a doubleheader Saturday (Mar. 31) and one game Sunday, both games are scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time.

MSU's home opener will be Wed, Mar. 28, at 2 p.m. vs. Eastern Michigan.

This weekend (Mar. 23-25), State (8-7) begins conference play at Illinois (8-8) with a four game series.
