Michigan State Crew To Compete At Big Ten Championships

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's crew will compete at the Big Ten Championships Saturday, April 28. The University of Michigan is hosting the event on Belleville Lake, and features Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State and Wisconsin.
The Championships will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with the morning heats running from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. In the afternoon, races will be divided in to Petite Finals and Grande Finals. The afternoon sessions will begin at noon and finish with the Grande Final of the varsity eights at approximately 3 p.m.
The varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity four, novice eight and second novice eight races will all be run on a point system. The team with the most cumulative points will be the Big Ten Champion.
