Spartan Baseball Conference Opener Suspended

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State-Minnesota baseball series opener was suspended Friday (Mar. 29) after 1:05 rain delay. Minnesota held a 1-0 lead when play was halted after the completion of the third inning. The two teams will complete the nine-inning game Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. and then follow with two seven-inning games.
Nick Bates (Sr., Blissfield) and Tim Day (Fr., West Chester, Ohio) are scheduled to start on the hill in tomorrow's seven inning games.
