EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's crew program will dedicate its new boathouse on Sept. 14 from 9-11 a.m. at Lansing's Grand River Park. Ceremonies will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m., and include a ribbon cutting and boat dedication. The new boathouse will provide the Spartans with a first-class facility, including a new locker room, state of the art sliding boat racks, training room and workout room.
"We are so psyched to be moving into our own boathouse," said MSU head coach Bebe Bryans. "It's a great facility that will allow us to maintain our equipment and work more effectively. We really appreciate this outstanding show of support from our Athletics Department."
Spartan alumni rowers interested in an "alumni row" should contact Coach Bryans at (517) 432-5661. Bryans has also reserved a block of 100 tickets to the Sept. 14 MSU football game vs. California at 12:00 p.m. Interested alumni and friends of the program should contact her to reserve their tickets.
