East Lansing, Mich. - Michigan State baseball wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule as the final game of the annual Green & Gray World Series came down to game five at Kobs Field in East Lansing. The gray team took game five, 8-5 and won the series three games to two.
"This proved to be a very competitive series," said head coach Ted Mahan and coach of the winning Gray team. "It really sums up the fall. Practices have been very competitive on a daily basis. We ended the fall on a positive note and are looking forward to the 2004 season."
Freshman pitcher Craig Brookes took the win for Gray, giving up no runs through four innings. Kris Morris led the gray team with a double and three RBI while James Moreno added two hits.
