Michigan State Cross Country Heads To Michigan Intercollegiate Friday

EAST LANSING, Mich.-- The Michigan State men's and women's cross country teams will travel to the 2003 Michigan Intercollegiate on Friday, Oct. 9, at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. Competition will begin at 4 p.m.
MSU Women Ranked No. 4: The Michigan State women's cross country team continues to move up in the polls, jumping to No. 4 in this week's FinishLynx Women's Cross Country Rankings announced Monday, Oct. 6. MSU is now the highest-ranked Big Ten team and the highest-ranked team in the Great Lakes Region.
Recapping the Notre Dame Invitational: Selected members of the MSU women's cross country team competed at the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday (Oct. 3) in Indiana. Spartan Michelle Rafferty (Soph., Carmel, Ind.) led MSU to a 13th-place finish out of 17 competing teams.
What's up next: The Spartans will compete next at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich.
