American Forces Network To Carry BasketBowl

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The BasketBowl featuring Michigan State and Kentucky from Ford Field will be carried on the American Forces Network. With over 400 broadcast outlets, the AFN serves over one million men and women in uniform, Department of Defense personnel, American Embassies and Consulates in over 179 countries and territores as well as U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Military Sealift Command ships at sea. AFN will carry the broadcast originated by the Spartan Radio Network with Will Tieman handling the play-by-play and Gus Ganakas providing color commentary.
The BasketBowl will be played in front of an expected world record crowd of more than 75,000. The Spartans and Wildcats will tip off at 4 p.m.
