COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Michigan State men's golf team is in 10th place after two rounds of the Robert Kepler Invitational, played Saturday (April 12) at the Ohio State University Scarlet Course. The Spartans carded a two-round team score of 611 (309-302). Tournament host Ohio State tops the leaderboard with a score of 591 (297-294).
Michigan State was led by senior All-American Eric Jorgensen (Big Rapids, Mich.), who fired a two-round score of 148 (75-73), good for a share of seventh place overall. Junior Casey Lubahn (Sand Lake, Mich.) carded a two-round score of 153 (78-75).
Rising sophomore Andrew Ruthkoski (Muskegon, Mich.) shot a score of 155 (75-80) while junior Ben Fox (Fort Wayne, Ind.) finished with a score of 158 (84-74). Senior co-captain John Koskinen (Baraga, Mich.) recorded a two-round score of 163 (81-82).
The third and final round of 18 holes is scheduled to begin Sunday (April 13) at 8 a.m.
