Women's Soccer Falls 1-0 At Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Michigan State women's soccer team lost its fourth consecutive game Sunday, losing at Purdue, 1-0. With the win, Purdue improves to 7-6 (3-4 Big Ten) on the season, while MSU falls to 8-6-1 (2-5-1 Big Ten).
Kim Comisar scored the game-winner for Purdue in the 36th minute, knocking a shot into the top right corner off an assist from Christy Riggle.
Three Spartans recorded two shots and senior goalkeeper Erin Carlson (Portage) had three saves for the Spartans.
Purdue held the advantage over MSU in both shot attempts (18-11) and corner kicks (6-2) for the game.
The Spartans will conclude the road portion of their Big Ten schedule at Wisconsin on Friday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m.
