• Michigan State has now won 28-straight season openers.

• MSU's 60 first-half points were the most in a half by a Spartan team since scoring 61 points in the second half against Penn State on Jan. 3, 2001.

• MSU improved to 59-17 all-time in November

• With six assists, Chris Hill moved into 10th place on the school's career assists chart with 317

• Shannon Brown scored a career high 18 points

• MSU's 70.4 percent first-half shooting was its best since shooting 80.8 percent in the first half vs. Ohio State Feb. 7, 2004

• Delco Rowley grabbed a career-best 12 rebounds

• Maurice Ager had a career-high nine rebounds to go along with a team-best 21 points

• Tonight was MSU's first 100-point game since Dec. 9, 2000 (103 vs. Loyola)

• The 104 points by MSU were the most for the Spartans since scoring 114 vs. Michigan on March 4, 2000

• MSU had six double-figure scorers for the first time since Dec. 9, 2001 vs. Nicholls State.
