
Crew Primes For Weekend Action In New Jersey, Michigan

Michigan State rowing prepares to face opponents from across the country this weekend, as the team splits up for two regattas on Sun., Nov. 7.
State's top three varsity boats will travel to Princeton, N.J., for the Princeton Chase Invitational, hosted by Princeton University. The regatta, held on Lake Carnegie, features a three-mile racecourse.
The remainder of the squad will head to Wyandotte, Mich., to compete in the American Heritage Classic. For a complete schedule of events at the Classic, visit: http://www.wyandotteboatclub.com/heritage04/page3.html.
Directions to the Classic are as follows: A. Take 1-75 to Northline Exit #36. (After exiting If you were traveling south on 1-75, turn left. If you were traveling north on 1-75 make a right.)
B. Proceed east on Northline Road to Biddle Avenue in Wyandotte. (You will pass Dix Road and Fort Street)
C. Turn right on Biddle Avenue.
D. Proceed south on Biddle Avenue through beautiful downtown Wyandotte. One block past Eureka Road, turn left to the river. This is Pine Street. (Portofino Restaurant is on the (left) corner.) The river is immediately on the right.
