Baseball Announces Walk-On Tryouts

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State baseball program will host walk-on tryouts on September 8 and 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Kobs Field. Those interested should be at the field in work-out clothes ready to play by 5:30.

The Michigan State baseball team completed the 2004 season - the 117th year in program history - with a 33-26 record, including a 19-13 record in the Big Ten, which was good for a tie for third place. The 33 wins were the sixth most in the history of the program, and the 19 conference wins were the most in school history.
