Men's Track And Field Enjoys Success At Meyo Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. - After a strong start at the Meyo Invitational on Friday, Feb. 5, Michigan State men's track and field continued success in the completion of competition on Saturday.
Freshman Jeremy Orr posted 6.84 in the 60-meter dash final, ranking him fourth. Orr also had a strong showing in the 200-meter dash, recording 21.54 in the final, good for fifth place.
Senior Steve Sherer finished ninth in the Meyo one-mile run, posting 4:06.39.
Sophomore Phil Marlatt finished the 800-meter run in 1:51.46, ranking him 14th, while Jon Wojcik's 1:53.50 performance earned him 25th place of 42 runners in that event. Jim Pancoast (1:54.59) followed, coming in 29th.
Next, MSU heads to Ames, Iowa, for the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 11-12.
