Megan Brown - Midfielder/Defender -
Brown begins her fourth season as a starter and captain at
Brown competed for the Michigan Hawks and paced the team to a pair of State Cup Finals appearances in 2004 and 2005. She has played for the '88 Michigan All-State team since 2001.
Coach Saxton: "Megan is a fine player and a tremendous student. Her outstanding work-rate will allow her to make a quick transition to the college game. She will help add talent and depth to our midfield and we are delighted to have her join our team."
Marshett Clarke - Defender - Snellville,
A four-year varsity starter, Clarke was named team captain in 2006. Clarke, a quick defender from the
Clarke's U17 Phoenix Red club team captured the 2005 State and Eastern Regional Championships.
Coach Saxton: "We are excited to have Marshett in our program. She will be a great addition to our defense with her ability to shut down top-level attackers."
Lauren Hill - Forward - Northville,
Hill burst onto the high school seen in earning All-Conference and All-District accolades, en route to being named her team's most outstanding offensive player as both a freshman and a sophomore. Hill led her team to the 2004 State Championship as a sophomore and was named a second-team All-State performer. As a junior, Hill, owner of a 3.86 GPA, was honored as a 2005 NCAA Adidas All American. Recently, Hill, who is among the top 150 players in the country according to Soccer Buzz Magazine, was named the 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Michigan.

Coach Saxton: "Lauren is one of the most exciting offensive players we have signed. She will have an immediate impact and be a `go-to' player in our attack. We look for her to be a top Big Ten attacker in the years ahead."
Katie Rehor - Midfielder/Defender -
Rehor, an Illinois-Elite team selection for the past three seasons, led her high school team in goals last season with 26 en route to being named team MVP in 2005. Rehor is a three-time All-Conference selection and was named to the All-Sectional team in 2004 and 2005, and to the All-Illinois team in 2005.
Rehor, who has earned a 3.785 GPA to date, also competed for seven years with the Windy City Pride. She led the Pride to numerous tournament titles, and back-to-back trips to the Illinois State Cup semi-finals. A two-time Illinois State ODP selection, Rehor and her teammates were the national runners-up in 2005.
Coach Saxton: "Katie is a talented, versatile player. She will have an immediate impact on our defense. She is also a fine attacking player capable of playing many positions and is a natural leader and our team will look to her for leadership as she progresses in our program."
Lauren Sinacola - Midfielder -
A four-year starter and 2006 team captain, Sinacola led Rochester Adams to District and Regional titles in 2003, en route to the state semi-finals. Last season, Sinacola, already a two-time All-Conference, All District and All-Region selection, was tabbed as a second team All-State honoree and was named a top-20 player in
From age 13-17 she led her Vardar III club team to five-consecutive state championships, before joining the Michigan Hawks, where she was recently named team captain. Lauren has participated in the ODP state program since 2000 and was selected to the national camp in 2001 and 2002.
Coach Saxton: "Lauren is a special player. She has tremendous skills and she reads the game as well as anyone we've ever recruited. She will have an immediate impact on our team and someday we will look to her to run our attack."
Kelsey Tait - Midfielder - Bloomfield Hills,
A three-time letterwinner at Marian High School, Tait was named honorable mention All-Catholic League and All-Area last season, as a junior, after leading her team to a Division II State Championship. Tait boasts a 3.86 GPA and is a four-time scholar-athlete honoree.
Tait is also a seven-year co-captain for her club team, Bloomfield Force '89, whom she led to two State Cup championships, in U-12 and U-13 competition, and two additional finals appearances at the U-14 and U-15 levels. Tait was a two-time Olympic Development program selection in the state of Michigan (2001, 2003).
Coach Saxton: "Kelsey comes from a tremendous club program. The experience she brings will help her make a quick transition to the college game."
Jennifer Ulmer - Defender - Northville,
Ulmer was a three-time letter winner at Avon Lake High School, in Avon Lake, Ohio, before transfering to Northville for her senior season. At Avon Lake, Ulmer was named the team's defensive MVP and honorable mention All-Greater Cleveland Area, in 2002 and 2003. In 2003, Ulmer was a first-team Lorain County selection. A dedicated student, Ulmer carries a 4.2 GPA in the honors program at Northville High School.
From 2001-05, she played club soccer for Ohio Premier North, leading her team to the 2004 North Ohio State Championship and the Region II finals. Ulmer's team was the North Ohio State runners-up from 2001-03. Ulmer was a member of the Ohio ODP team in both 2003 and 2004.
Coach Saxton: "We are excited for Jennifer to join our team. She has the potential to be a very good college defender."
