EAST LANSING, Mich.-Michigan State rowing would like to invite interested coaches and coxswains to attend an informational clinic on Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Jenison Field House. MSU associate head coach Stacey Rippetoe, novice coach Christiina Tymoszewicz, rigger Scott Travis, and graduate assistant Colleen Milligan will run the day-long clinic.
This is an excellent opportunity to receive instruction from collegiate coaches and gain insight from coxswains on the Michigan State varsity team. Topics of discussion include: safety scenarios; steering, docking and maneuvering; technique; the role of a coxswain; and developing specific vocabulary.
Cost of the clinic is $35, including lunch. Please fill out the registration form and return with payment by Feb. 3. Payment must be received before the clinic starts in order to be admitted.
