
Pelbart Makes NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Debut

EAST LANSING, Mich. - At the second day of the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, Michigan State freshmen thrower Zoe Pelbart placed 19th overall in the women's javelin throw with a toss of 47.61m (156-2).
Pelbart, who was making her NCAA Championship debut, finishes a successful first season at Michigan State. Entering this week, she had placed among the top-five in each of her six meets, including fifth place finishes at the Big Ten Championships and the NCAA Mideast Regional.
