Tickets Available for Men's Basketball Non-Conference Games

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Additional men's basketball tickets have been released to the public and are currently on sale for all non-conference games. Tickets range in price from $13-$30 and may be purchased through the MSU Athletics Ticket Office by phone at 1-800-GO-STATE or 517-355-1610 or on-line at www.msuspartans.com.
The Spartans will play eight home games during the non-conference season, beginning with the season opener on Friday, Nov. 13 against Florida Gulf Coast at 7 p.m. Perennial NCAA Tournament-participant Gonzaga comes to the Breslin Center on Tuesday, Nov. 17. The November home schedule also includes serving as a host site for the Legends Classic with MSU playing Toledo (Nov. 20) and Valparaiso (Nov. 22). The December schedule features four home contests, beginning with a Dec. 4 game against Wofford as Spartan senior Isaiah Dahlman will square off against his brother Noah, a junior on the Terrier squad. On Dec. 10, MSU will host Oakland, as the Golden Grizzlies feature several players from the mid-Michigan area. The December slate rounds out with games against IPFW (Dec. 19) and Texas-Arlington (Dec. 30) while the MSU students are on semester break. Izzone mini-plans are available for sale during that time.
Michigan State is currently ranked No. 2 in both The Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls. The Spartans return three starters and seven of their top nine scorers from last year's 31-7 squad that captured the Big Ten Championship and advanced to the national title game at the 2009 Final Four at Detroit's Ford Field.
