EAST LANSING, Mich. - Spartan baseball juniors Brandon Eckerle and Kurt Wunderlich were each named to the All-Jayhawk League First Team after successful summer seasons.

Eckerle, who played for the Hays Larks, finished the summer with a team-high .382 batting average. He collected 68 hits from his leadoff-position and also swiped 26 bases.

Wunderlich began the season out of the bullpen for the Hays Larks but moved into the starting rotation where he posted a perfect 6-0 record. He posted a 2.52 ERA along with 36 strikeouts.
