
Men's Tennis Drops Match to No. 39 Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Michigan State men's tennis team fell in a 7-0 decision to No. 39 Indiana in Bloomington, Ind. on Saturday, April 24, bringing the Spartans to 13-12 overall.
Sophomore Austin Brooks (Houston, Texas) battled at No. 2 singles, taking Jeremy Langer into a tie-breaker in the opening set, and then responded with a win in the second set, but ultimately fell to Langer, 6-7(9), 6-1, 6-0. Junior Clark Richardson (Leawood, Kan.) also took Alexzander van Gils into a three-set match. Richardson started strong, winning the first set, 6-4, but ended up falling in the second and third sets, 4-6, 1-6.
The Spartans head to Champaign, Ill. on Sunday, April 25 for their last regular season match of the year against Illinois at 12 p.m. ET.
