COLUMBUS, Ohio - No. 2 seed Michigan State (35-19) takes on top-seeded Illinois (26-25) in the winners bracket of the Big Ten Tournament Friday at Huntington Park at 7:05 p.m. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network and a free broadcast is available at SpartanSportsNetwork.com.
MSU defeated Purdue on Thursday, 7-1, while the Fighting Illini scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat Ohio State, 5-4.
