EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team will feature a student-athlete every week this spring in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week junior Amy Barton (Brisban, Australia) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about her coming to MSU from Australia and some of her hobbies. Barton played at the number one singles spot last season, recording a 12-8 record. She also paired up along side Marina Bohrer at the No. 1 doubles position to go 16-8.

Favorite match played at MSU: When we went to Florida, at Bollettieri's on spring break in 2011. I was the last match and it was 3-3. I was down 5-2, but I came back to win 7-6 in the third set. Since I Was the deciding match for MSU, this allowed us to beat William and Mary who were ranked in the top 50 in the country. This also helped up get ranked in the top 60.
Pre-game ritual: Putting on my skins, Queensland socks
Anything else you want the world to know about you: I can wrestle crocodiles just like Steve Irwin.
