EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a freshman student-athlete every week this fall in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week freshman Claire Johnson (Louisville, KY) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about her her experience so far at MSU and her favorite celebrities.

Favorite food: Sushi and ice cream, or anything my dad makes
Favorite restaurant: Mojitos (in Louisville)
Do you have any special talents: I can juggle
Pets: Two dogs, Chloe and Mo
Siblings: Two younger sisters, Caroline (16) and Sophie (8)
What do you want to be when you grow up: I'm still trying to figure that one out
Where is the most exotic place you have traveled to: St. Kitts
Dream vacation spot: Greece
Favorite musician or band: I don't know, but Taylor Swift is definitely up there
What song gets you pumped up before a game: Bring It Back - Travis Porter, or our warm up mix
Why did you pick MSU: I loved the atmosphere here, and the family mindset of the team and the coaches
Favorite TV show: Friday Night Lights, The OC, CSI
Favorite celebrity: Ryan Gosling and Taylor Swift
Favorite thing to do besides play field hockey: Listen to music, be with my family and friends, and nap
Favorite store to shop: Urban Outfitters, Forever 21
If you were not playing field hockey, what other sport would you be involved with: Tennis. I'm not very good, but it's fun!
Favorite spot on campus: Allie Ahern's futon (it's really comfy) or the locker room
Favorite pro sport & team: Football, Colts
Pre-game ritual: Dance parties in the locker room or bus
Funny memory of a team mate or team trip: When Allie Ahern crawled through the storage compartments on the bus and scared Shawn when he opened it to get a water.
