EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a freshman student-athlete every week this fall in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week freshman Sierra Patton (Chelsea, Mich.) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about her experience so far at MSU and her favorite things.

Do you have any special talents: I can paint and draw.
Do you have any famous relatives: One of my very distant relatives was on one of the first ten dollar bills and was treasurer of the USA for a while.
Pets: I have a horse named Pi and an Alaskan malamute named Kyia.

What do you want to be when you grow up: Astronomer or Astro-Physicist
Where is the most exotic place you have traveled to: I went to Sevilla, Spain.
Dream vacation spot: Sydney, Australia

Why did you pick MSU: I picked MSU because it had a great environment. Everyone is so inviting and welcoming. I love how hard working the team is and how much fun they make training.
Favorite TV show: Big Bang Theory
Favorite celebrity: David Tennant
Favorite thing to do besides play field hockey: Any kind of sport! I also like to go stargazing and go on road trips.
Favorite store to shop: Forever 21 or DSW
If you were not playing field hockey, what other sport would you be involved with: Soccer or Track
