EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team holds a 2-1 record so far into its 2014 schedule. In an attempt to "Meet the Spartans," msuspartans.com will feature a student-athlete every week throughout the season. Junior Catherine Parenteau (Montreal, Canada) is featured this week. Parenteau won her first singles dual match of the season last weekend, defeating Ball State in three sets 6-1, 6-7, 10-6. She is also 2-1 in doubles play this season.
