EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team holds a 10-2 record so far into its 2014 schedule. In an attempt to "Meet the Spartans," msuspartans.com will feature a student-athlete every week throughout the season. Senior Jennifer Yen (Farmington Hills, Mich.) is featured this week. Yen holds a 2-0 doubles record this season when pairing with junior Hilary Hager.

Favorite part about your hometown: It's very diverse town. Different kinds of people and different kinds of cuisines

Reason for coming to MSU: It's close to home and for their supply chain program
Best memories from MSU: Being on the tennis team and bonding with all the girls. There's a lot of memories you create on the tennis team, it's kind of hard to pick one out.
Post-school plans: Obviously find a job for sure, and then get out of Michigan
How long have you been playing tennis: 12 years
Favorite meal: Anything really, just put any food in front of me and I'll eat it. I'm not really picky
Favorite movie: "Shawshank Redemption"
