EAST LANSING - The Michigan State hockey team unveiled its uniforms for the 2015 Hockey City Classic on Friday at Munn Ice Arena. The green, black and bronze uniforms will be worn on Feb. 7 when MSU takes on Michigan at Soldier Field.
"We used a throwback uniform last year (at the Great Lakes Invitational) honoring the 1966 team," MSU head coach Tom Anastos said. "I thought it would be appropriate to do something more futuristic and contemporary in this one."
The Nike jerseys are green with black trim and include bronze lettering and numbering. The front of the jersey features the bronze Spartan helmet logo. MSU will wear green helmets and black pants featuring a bronze logo with the jerseys.
