EAST LANSING - The Michigan State baseball staff will host a pair of advanced hitting clinics, Nov. 21 and 22 at McLane Baseball Stadium.
The Nov. 21 clinic will run from 10 a.m. -- 2 p.m. and the Nov. 22 clinic will take place from 1 -- 5 p.m. The cost of each camp is $100 and is open to players in grades 7-12.
The clinics centers on the "Five Foundations of Hitting" as well as covering the components of the "complete hitter." Included in the clinic will be a lecture, drills, live batting practice and video analysis. The hands-on clinic teaches the same drills currently used by the Michigan State baseball program.
The clinics will be held at MSU's Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) located at Kobs Field. The IPF is an 8,000-square foot state-of-the-art venue that houses four full-length batting cages as well as an Iron Mike pitching machine and Hack Attack machines. Upon arrival, players will register at the IPF.
