- MSU extends the all-time series lead with Arkansas-Pine Bluff to 3-0 in the third meeting between the schools in the last four seasons.
- A season-high 14 players saw action against the Golden Lions, including 13 Spartan scorers. The depth resulted in a season-best 45 points off the bench.
- MSU shot a season-best 57.9 percent from field-goal range, the highest FG percentage since shooting 62.0 percent at Michigan on February 17, 2015.
- With one block in the contest, senior forward Matt Costello moves into fifth place in MSU history with 107 blocks, passing Delvon Roe who recorded 106.
- Costello posted his fourth-career double-double in the matchup with 10 points and 10 rebounds, his first of the season.
- Sophomore forward Javon Bess recorded a career-high 16 points and grabbed three rebounds for the Spartans.

- After becoming just the fourth Spartan to record a triple-double on Tuesday against Kansas, senior forward Denzel Valentine proved his versatility yet again, posting seven points alongside seven rebounds and 11 assists. Seven of his 11 helpers came in the first half.
- Freshman guard Kyle Ahrens scored his first basket in the Green and White, recording five points and two rebounds in seven minutes played. Redshirt junior forward Matt Van Dyk also recorded his first-career bucket, scoring two points and recording one steal in four minutes.
