• No. 3 Michigan State moves to 4-0 in 2015-16 and advances the all-time series with Eastern Michigan to 30-3. The Spartans have won eight-straight matchups with the Eagles, including a 6-0 mark under head coach Tom Izzo.
• The Spartans move to 8-2 all-time on Nov. 23, including a perfect 6-0 at home.
• Izzo, who moves to 58-0 in the month of November, sits just one win away from his 500th career win in 21 seasons as head coach of the Spartans.
• The Spartans shot a season-high 45 percent from 3-point range, shooting 9-20 from behind the arc.
• Senior guard Bryn Forbes has been the first Spartan to score in the last two contests (UAPB and EMU), sinking a 3-pointer in his first shot of each game.
• Forbes shot 75 percent from 3-point range for the second time this season, knocking down 3-4 tonight.
• Freshman forward Deyonta Davis scored a career-high and team-best 16 points while tying his career-high five blocks that he originally set against FAU (11/13).
• Depth continues to be a theme for the Spartans with 12 players having played in all four games, including nine who are averaging double-figure minutes.
• Denzel Valentine, who averages a team-high in points, rebounds and assists, scored 12 points to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists in a team-best 27 minutes.
• Tum Tum Nairn Jr. notched a season-best five assists in 18 minutes for the Spartans.
• Sophomore forward Marvin Clark, who has missed much of the first three games due to injury, added a season-high six points and tied a career-high six rebounds in 13 minutes.
• Redshirt junior guard Eron Harris scored a season-high 10 points and grabbed a career-best tying seven rebounds.
