East Lansing, Michigan - Michigan State heads to Columbus for the second time this spring, and will line up with No. 1 Ohio State, No. 13 Michigan, and No. 17 Syracuse on Saturday morning.
Racing on 20-minute centers, the day's racing begins at 11 am with second novice eights, progressing toward the varsity eights, which will race at 12:40 p.m. The crews will race in regatta format, with four boats across in each race.
The Spartans have struggled with injury issues, as MSU was forced to scratch a second novice eight entry last weekend and once again this week will not field a second four. MSU is going to look to establish some consistency in its approach as well, and start to build some speed and confidence as the Big Ten Championships approach. The Spartans have one more Big Ten double dual on tap, on May 2 at Wisconsin with Minnesota, before the Big Ten Championship regatta on Eagle Creek Reservoir in Indianapolis on May 15-17.
Live racing results will come across via twitter, both at MSU's official twitter feed @MSURowing , and via the host twitter feed at @OhioState_WROW
