Rowers Earn Academic Kudos

East Lansing, Michigan - A total of nineteen Spartan rowers have earned academic honors from either the Big Ten or the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA), as was announced late Thursday by both organizations.
CRCA National Scholar-Athlete honors are given to those who hold at least sophomore standing, own a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher for her career, and rowed in a NCAA varsity entry for at least 75% of the team's season. Academic All-Big Ten honorees have similar competition standards, but hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better.
