Swimming & Diving Announces 2015-16 Schedule

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head swimming and diving coach Matt Gianiodis has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
The Spartans begin the season by hosting Purdue and Michigan at the IM West Outdoor Pool on Oct. 2. MSU will then host the annual Alumni Meet the next day in East Lansing.
MSU will travel to Iowa for two meets Oct. 15-16. The Spartans will take on the Hawkeyes in the first day of action while Northern Iowa will join the two schools on Oct. 16.
The women's team will swim at home against Illinois on Oct. 23 and at Toledo Nov. 6, while they'll reconvene with the men on Oct. 30 at Notre Dame. Cincinnati and Bowling Green come to East Lansing to take on the MSU women Nov. 13.
Both teams return to the Northwestern Invite on Nov. 20-22, where the men took first and the women second in last year's event.
The USA Winter Nationals will take place Dec. 2-5 in Federal Way, Washington, in MSU's last event of 2015.
MSU returns to dual action on Jan. 15-16 at Ohio State before coming back to East Lansing Jan. 23 to take on Oakland in the last home meet of the season.
The regular season will finish up in Ann Arbor against Michigan on Feb. 6.
The Women's Big Ten Championships are scheduled for Feb. 17-20 in Ann Arbor, while the Men's Big Ten Championships will be held Feb. 24-27 in West Lafayette, Indiana. The NCAA Zone Diving Championships will take place March 10-12.
The 2016 NCAA Women's Championships are set for March 17-19, while the NCAA Men's Championships are March 24-26. Both events will be held in Atlanta.
